I met Jeremy Rosado during an editorial shoot I did for AMMO magazine. I really enjoyed working with all of the guys that day but he was the only one that never had a one on one session with me. We exchanged contacts and proceeded to set something up.  At the time my relationship with  booker was "strained" so we set the shoot up directly with each other.

Jeremy has beautiful face and an amazing body.  I wanted to do images that show'd his sensual side that compliments his physical strengths. So i decided to shoot him in with a natural light theme using my favorite magazines with black models as a way to pay homage to their black beauty. Jeremy's character is obsessed with black women so much so  that he has daydreams about them. He was completely open to the concept  and took direction well. He fell into character so convincingly that he fell asleep on the floor during the shoot. The results turned out beautiful and I hope y'all like them.

People always have something to say. One of the things most of them seem to say about my work is that it is artistic. Many feel it is too artistic to be considered fashion photography. I  want to know if my work is considered to artistic to be fashion, then what exactly is fashion photography and it is fashion today considered art? I decided to do a photo series that paid tribute to fashion involving body paint. Omar Kennedy of Boss Models and Next Miami caught the China bus from Boston to shoot with me. He booked a job in Boston and got the bus as soon as it was done. He arrived in Brooklyn at almost midnight.

I was inspired partly by the Louis Vuitton/ Stephen Sprouse "graffiti" print and the body paintings artist Keith Herring. model and friend Shyloh Wilkerson stopped by to help and finally meet her facebook friend model Omar Kennedy.

I shot Ger Duany for a magazine editorial when I first arrived In NYC. He was amazingly striking and the power of his presence was undeniable. It was the first time I had ever photographed someone sooooo dark. He is one of the most beautiful men I have ever photographed and I hope to work with him again...soon.

...A NEW LOOK - SEANDON @ Boss Models NYC

Actor/ model Seandon started the new year off with a new look - he shaved off ALL of his beautiful hair and asked me to photograph his new look. I have been working with Seandon since 2007 and each time its a challenge to capture him in a way that goes beyond shooting him "urban." Since he no longer had the hair, I wanted to really focus on his beauty and the artistry of his form.

 

Seandon has all the components to be an amazing model. He has a great personality with boyish charm, great features with the most perfect pouty mouth, and he has a great body. He effortlessly exude a sex appeal that comes to life in front of the camera. I enjoy working with Seandon because I like challenging myself and challenging his own boundaries of how he sees himself. He can do more than stand on the block looking like a urban model.

 

Seandon has recently expressed and interest in acting and has been studying and developing those talents - preparing for what he is going to do with his life when modeling is over. Check out his blog - WE SAW YOU

introducing ALEX CIAPPARA @ BOSS MODELS NYC

With his classic American good looks and innate poise, Detroit native, Alex Ciappara brings good ole fashioned boy next door charm it modeling. With his brand of straight forward handsomeness in high demand, look for him to make a big splash campaign trail. I first saw Alex in the work of Lima, Ohio based photographer who goes by the name Photog J, who is a close friend of mine. I loved J's images of Alex and liked his look and wanted to work with him too. So when Florian @ Boss Model NYC called me and asked me to photograph Alex's new haircut I was happy to oblige. When shooting him, I played off his relaxed energy and kept things simple and comfortable. I wanted you to focus on his natural beauty.
