Chris Gayla @ Major Model Mgmt is definitely one to watch. He's currently sailing thru the air in the Lacoste campaign and editorials in Contributing Editor, Wound and V-Man magazines. I enjoyed working with Chris. He has alot of good energy and personality and I tried to convey that in a fashiony way with the images we shot.

HOT NEW FACE: ROB EVANS @ Major Model Mgmt.

Two months ago, the last thing Rob Evans was thinking about was modeling let alone creating a sensation walking the Givenchy Spring/ Sumer 2011 Men's show in Paris. He was in Oxford, UK training at his local boxing gym maintain his amazing 6'3 physique. So far modeling has allowed him to walk in shows in Paris and an already impressive collection of magazine editorial work .

He's in the Big Apple ready for NY fashion week. Not being the ideal showroom size hasn't discouraged Rob or made him feel the need to starve to death and comform to the industry current skinny boy standard - he's opt'd to be the exception..... actual man size. Everyone was telling me "he's huge" or "all you really can do with him is underwear stuff." I set out to prove otherwise. 

When Rob arrived to my place in Brooklyn, I decided to untilize my "MacGuyver" skills. I took him to one of those Fulton street fabric stores and bought some black wool and decided to construct him a cocoon coat. This beautiful hooded cacoon is featured in the selection of images in this post entitled THE DARK KNIGHT. I also got more amazing fashionably stylish images coming soon. ROB EVANS IS A SUPERSTAR.....mark my words. :)

JUSTIN HOPWOOD for ABERCROMBIE & FINCH

After a eight year hiatus, Abercrobie & Finch have relaunched the provocative quarterly magazine and it promises plenty of playful displays of flesh and gracing the cover is Major Model Mgmt's Justin Hopwood.

Justin Hopwood, born in from Cape Town, South Africa, is a South African model, currently living in Hamburg, Germany. An agent spotted Hopwood in 2008 and gave him his card and he then entered into the world of modeling. At the time, he never believed he has the "model look". It wasn't long after signing with Major Model Management that he landed work as a professional model gracing the cover of the recent issue of the Abercrombie & Finch Quarterly and booking the upcoming Polo Jeans campaign.

introducing RICHARD LIMA @ Major Model Mgmt.

I had an amazing opportunity to work with a model who  has worked with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry...Richard Lima. Richard is currently represented by Major Model Mgmt. Having a career that has spanned well past a decade Richard Lima continues to be one of the industry's most coveted faces. He's definitely proving that somethings get better with age..... he just keeps getting hotter and hotter.

Marcus Hill stepped off the football field and into the world of fashion with avengence. He is confident and possesses an energy that is contagious.

Marcus has a body like chiseled brick... perfection and he is completely comfortable showing it off. He had a lot of the typical commercial/ catalog-type images in his portfolio and I didn't want to do a repeat of the images in his book. A lot of times I find black guys tend to have boring forgettable books that focus on commercial. I wanted to use my time with him to shoot him in a super sexy and masculine way like i see many of the white male models. I wanted to also create images that were also artistic and lasting.

One of the coolest things about my experience working with Marcus was the apperciation and thanks he showed by sending me a actual thank you card in the mail. It was one of the first time a model made me feel like the work we did was something they - themselves valued and treasured.
