CONGRATS ROBERT EVANS @ Major NYC
Coming off the international campaign for CK One, I'm proud to see Robert Evans @ Major along side supermodels Naomi Campbell and Natalia Vodianova . I remember when his booker first called me asking me to do a test shoot with him. Many photographers were reluctant to work with him in the beginning because he's not the industry standard size. I didn't care about that industry standard shit, I saw a star in the making. If I never get the opportunity to work with him again, I'm happy to know that I was one the first photographers in NY that helped show that he doesn't haveta be the usual industry standard to be a superstar in this industry. I am so happy for him...he's shutting the naysayers down with one fashion moment at a time. :)

THE NEXT MALE SUPERMODEL.... ROBERT EVANS @ Major Model Mgmt.
Robert Evans (photographed by Tarrice Love)
Many have tried but we really haven't had a black male model stir up a buzz since the legendary Tyson Beckford. The latest candidate to step in front of the lens is England's import Robert Evans, currently represented by Major Model Mgmt. Everything about Robert is SUPER....his face, his body, his size, and his personality is SUPER cool......most importantly he is SUPER gracious and humble. This past NY fashion week had designers scrambling to include his SUPER presence in their runway shows. Photographers have been breaking necks to get the opportunity to capture his SUPER-NESS in front of their lens.

THAT FACE: VICTOR ROSS II @ Major/ L.A Models
good genetics plus a great attitude = Victor Ross II
(more to come ...soon)
It was a Friday night and model Victor Ross II hit me up on facebook asking if wanted to shoot tomorrow. I had been wanting to work with him for years but our schedules never allowed for it. Of course I said yes. I always warm up with portraits and the images above are the results. You'll see plenty more of Mr. Ross and our collaboration very soon.

introducing ASHLEE DESIRE @ Major Model Mgmt - Germany
Ashlee Desire @ Major Model Mgmt./ Munich
Ashlee Desire ( yes, thats her real name) is a really good model who can quickly give you hard fierce and in the blink of an eye become soft and demure. She was in NY for a few days working and stopped by my place the morning she was to fly back to Munich, her new home. All i can say is she kill'd it. We put together some really great pics.

introducing MIKE RADON @ MAJOR MODEL MGMT.

Former football player for the Atlanta Falcons, Mike Radon, has stepped into the arena of modeling currently represented by Major Model Mgmt. The agency sent him to test with me not knowing what to expect. Neither did I. Mike walked to thru the door with this really weird haircut that I didn't like. with my usual limited resources, I decided to create this monk/ Arab type hooded cloak. I was inspired by this photo of a Arab man on my wall and the styling of the Steven Klein fashion story in Japan Men's Vogue.
Most of the work Mike had done was centered around his amazing body. He is what I call "black-boy-built." he was tall, muscular and bow-legged. I wanted to do something that made Mike a little bit more fashion editorial especially since muscular male models are making a return to the editorial scene.
