preview: DARK GIRLS

I SAW THIS EVERYDAY WHEN I WAS GROWING UP. I UNDERSTAND THAT ART HAS THE POWER TO HELP MAKE PEOPLE SEE BEAUTY. I HAVE MADE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO CREATE IMAGES  THAT MAKE PEOPLE RECOGNIZE THE BEAUTY THEY HAVE IN THEMSELVES. IT IS BECAUSE OF THE FILM BELOW,

    saddest thing ive ever seen.
    "dark" skin girls are gorgeous and i hate when men say " i dont like them too dark" sooo F'ed UP!!!

    I'm moved by Dark Girls! Im from Malaysia and of Indian, Ethoipian, Burmese and Jewish descent. I have olive skin and dark brown eyes and my brother has dark skin. I consider myself as being Indian and it's the same issues that we face in my community as black people do in the States. I've been brought up to see the beauty in everyone including all the beautiful shades of skin tones. I never went out with a light skin man due to their arrogance (in Malaysia anyways) . I ended up marrying an indian with dark skin. SEXY! xxx Sylvia
