I was finally able to get model/actor/singer Jonathan Morgan (@st.jon) to traveled to Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn to collaborate in a photo session with me. We had been talking about working together for years through social media.

When Jonathan arrived at my studio, he quickly expressed that his agency didn't want him shoot anymore body images... they needed more fashion images of him wearing clothes. It surprised me that he was interested in collaborating with me on this project because often times stylist/ fashion people want to put me in a category and assume I only shoot body images. I like shooting body images because  it affords  me  the  flexibility to use the  images in a more  artistic way.  I can completely understand why any photographer would want to shoot body images of him, he has an amazing body. He is built like "Lawd have mercy..." LOL!

 This was a great opportunity to show industry people that I can shoot strong fashion images that translate in a classic editorial way. Fashion was my first love and I knew this particular collaboration was going to be fun.  Jonathan styled himself. He brought clothing from his personal closet and Zara Clothing store. We were going for a more classic, clean GQ look and the clothing fit that ideal perfectly.
